Year: 1979

#83 in Kennedy's Underground and Newave Comix Guide.

Animal-themed minicomic by Jim Siergey and Clay Geerdes.

Contents include pinups, a Q&A with Mitch O'Connell, a two-page article on the "new wave" of mainstream artists, and letters from Sue Lattanzio (Dorne), Steve Miller, Matt Bucher and Ken McFarlane.

Most of the pages are wacky news stories illustrated by the contributors and there's also a back cover photo of a model sporting a Comix World t-shirt.
Issue number not printed on cover but was written on some copies.

This issue also contains a couple of photos by Geerdes, one of which depicts Paul Krassner and Margo St. James at 1979's International Condom Day event in San Francisco.

On the inside front cover is a photo of a woman wearing a Babyfat t-shirt. If you view the inside front cover by holding the mini up to the light you can now see through this woman's t-shirt thanks to Eric Vincent's cover drawing. Such a funny surprise.

What Is This Site?
A virtual archive of mini-comics, fanzines, small press comics, newave comix and related items. The physical archive, housed at PF headquarters, is being built with personal acquisitions as well as generous donations from supporters. This project is most definitely a work in progress.
