The Naugacomics are similar in spirit and format to Willis' Morty Comix and are another precursor to the current ACEO / art cards. Like Morty Comix, the typical format of the Naugas was the hand-drawn, four-page booklet. Some were sketchy, some were more polished, some were hand-colored. Some of them even represented installments in continuing stories – the long-running "Houseboat on the Styx" serial, for example.

Begun in January, 1986, over 500 (perhaps more) were produced and are scattered around the globe. This series attempted to collect as many of them as possible.

This series was published by Jeff Nicholson (Ultra Klutz), who was also responsible for the Steve Willis Archives series.

Bolman's brilliant 'Paradise Mislaid' story was originally "serialized" in his Naugacomics series (one-of-a-kind, hand drawn comics mailed to friends) and this issue collects that original version. The story stars Satan, the Carter Family and Gabriel (who works at God's Diner) and must be seen to be believed.

1st printing:
2nd printing: edition of 6 copies, I believe
3rd printing: signed/numbered edition of 6 copies, twine-bound, original Naugacomics bound into the center
