Mugs coverThis little mini comic is a great collection of mug shots drawn by indie cartoonist Pat Moriarity. It was published in a limited edition by Michael Dower's Brownfield Press and each copy is signed and numbered by the artist. Each page features a full page cartoon illustration of a fascinating person or character. The more famous include Edith Bouvier Beale, Henry David Thoreau, Filippo Auti, Adrian Bandirali & Pablito and Franco Tincale, but there's still space for Puck the Dwarf, The Cabode, and several others.

Mugs is 12 pages, including the cover. 3" x 4.5", hand-trimmed, with saddle-stitch binding. It's available for $2.50 from the Poopsheet Shop. See the listing for a couple of sample pages that showcase Moriarity's wonderful cartooning. See his website for news, his blog, and his latest projects.
