Do yourself a favor and grab some Sparkplug Comic Books. I wholeheartedly recommend Flesh & Bone, The Disgusting Room, The Heavy Hand, The Hot Breath of War, Reich, Boung & Gagged, Rambo 3.5, Nurse Nurse, Blammo, et al.

Let me echo Justin, Tom and Rob by also encouraging our readers here to go buy some books at Sparkplug. I think it's almost a given that you'll find something (if not many things) to pique your interest as Sparkplug is one of the best publishers we have right now (and has been for some time).

Plus, Dylan Williams is a "mover and shaker" in alt comics in the ways that really do matter. And a heck of a nice guy to boot.

I bought a few books last week and was happy to help. I don't know Dylan (met him only briefly at MIX in Mpls last year) but he is obviously a pretty awesome person who is doing great work in this alt-comics scene. I really hope he gets better.
