I've talked about these a little bit in my
2011 shows thread, but here's some more info:
Pittsburgh Zine Fair

Thu Sept 1, 5-10 PM
@ AIR on the Northside

It's the first year for this show. In 2009 and 2010 we had the Pittsburgh Small Press Fest, which was a great idea but poorly organized both times. This should be better. I'm pretty sure that this show isn't accepting anymore exhibitors at this point, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't come and hang out anyway! There's gonna be music, free food, raffles, and a ton of different zines and minicomics.
PIX - Pittsburgh Indie Comics Expo

Sat-Sun October 8-9
@ Guardian Storage 6th Floor, 2389 Liberty Avenue 15222
This is the second year for PIX. Last year, it had a great vibe and I'm hoping this year is even better. It's in a pretty central location in the city, a few blocks from downtown with easy parking. The Eventbrite link up there is for exhibitor registration, and as of right now, there should still be plenty of tables left. It's super cheap, too!!!
